Holiday Collections The only change being made to collections during the holiday period is to those scheduled for a Friday pickup on Christmas Day. The service will still happen on the Friday but the drivers will be commencing their runs from midnight. They'll be creeping around as quietly as possible and hopefully get home in time to share Christmas with their families. So please insure your bin is out on Thursday night for the regular Friday collection, and all other days will be collected as normal.

From all the staff in Gloucester, Greater Taree City & Great Lakes Councils, as well as us here at JR Richards & Sons, we take the opportunity to wish all residents a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. All bins have been rolled out, the new collection vehicles are performing well, and the recycling processing facility is just starting to process product, over three months ahead of schedule. It's a big ask introducing a new system and settling it down just before Christmas, and the upcoming holiday season will no doubt throw up a new set of challenges, but all Councils and Richards are working together to provide the best services possible and to ensure all waste, recyclables and garden organics are collected efficiently.
